The Project Management Qualification (PMQ) course builds on the fundamentals established in more foundation project management courses, to prepare you for attaining an internationally recognised qualification (IPMA Level D, SCQF Level 7). It is designed to allow you to demonstrate understanding of all elements of project management, from how the elements interact to how your project fits into your strategic and commercial environment.

Who is this course for?
This course is designed for individuals from both the public and private sector, working in the management of projects, ranging from individual assignments through to those working on large capital or change projects.
Are there any pre-requisites?
It is recommended that those wishing to undertake the course have a minimum of two years’ relevant practical experience of project management. Typically, we would expect you to have some pre-existing project management knowledge – ideally, although not required, through the APM Project Fundamentals Qualification (PFQ).

End of Course assessment
On completing all parts of the course, you will receive an RICS Certificate of Completion.
If you are seeking the formal qualification:
On completing the course you will be required to apply for the exam directly with the APM Group. On passing the exam you will receive the formal APM Project Management Qualification (PMQ). The format of this closed book written exam requires candidates to answer 10 out of 16 questions within 3 hours. A score of 55% or higher is required to pass. Please note that the exam must be taken within 12 months of purchase of this course.
