Delays and disruption are major causes for concern on Construction Sites and this introductory level course is aimed at demystifying the procedures for dealing with delays and disruption.

Using JCT 2016 as its backdrop, this course focusses on theory :- Relevant Events, Delay Notices, Extensions of Time, Certificates of Non Completion, and practice :- such as Cause and Effect Schedules, Record Keeping and information management techniques.

Web Class Pre-requisites
Attendees to this web class will benefits from a general understanding of construction contract management. The Course is based on the principles of JCT 2016, so some prior knowledge may be an advantage, but is not essential.
Pre-Class Reading Material/Post Reading Material
Those without prior knowledge of Construction contracts would beneficiate from looking at some of the JCT 2016 contracts prior to the course.
The course takes the form of a one and half hour interactive web class with power point slides, practical examples, exercises and finishes with a questions and answers session.
