Wayne Godwin, Managing Director, Cushman & Wakefield | Broll Hospitality

Wayne Godwin is Managing Director of Cushman & Wakefield Broll | Hospitality, part of the specialist Cushman & Wakefield Hospitality division, based in Johannesburg. With nearly two decades’ experience in real estate across the African continent, Wayne is widely regarded as one of the region’s leading hospitality and real estate strategists. He has completed assignments across more than 43 African countries, spanning capital markets, valuations, feasibility studies, operator selection, asset management and development advisory.

Previously, Wayne spent over 11 years at JLL, becoming CEO of JLL Africa – a firm-wide leadership role spanning multiple teams and asset classes. He concurrently led JLL’s Hotels & Hospitality Group in Africa and served as Head of East Africa, based in Nairobi. He holds an MSc in Property Studies from the University of Cape Town, a Postgraduate Diploma in Business Administration from Wits Business School and a BA Tourism Development degree from the University of Johannesburg.
