    Whether you’re beginning your valuation career or advancing toward specialised, complex appraisal work, the Middle East Valuation Training Programme provides the essential knowledge and practical skills you need to succeed. Built on RICS, IVS, IPMS, this tiered programme delivers a clear learning pathway recognised by industry stakeholders, employers, and regulators.

    From understanding the fundamentals of professional conduct and residential valuation, through to advanced investment modelling, development appraisals, DCF analysis, DRC, and profits methods, you will gain the competencies required to value properties of every type—with accuracy, consistency, and confidence.

    Supported by regular knowledge checks, the programme combines interactive learning, case‑based problem solving, and structured report guidance. Upon successful completion of each tier, you will earn a CPD‑accredited Certificate issued by RICS, contributing directly to your professional progression,

    Course 4

    This course will focus on the transition from B to A, with advanced and more detailed training on:

    • Profits method
    • Development appraisals for large multi-phase projects

    By the end of the course, the candidate should be confident to value properties with complex circumstances that require multiple complex approaches including Hotels, restaurant chains, large multi-phase development projects, private hospitals, and schools.

    Programme summary

    All applicants from Bahrain pursuing a license in their country must complete the Course 0: Middle East Mandatory Training: Standards & Regulations Training Course (1 day delivery) which covers topics such as the International Valuation Standards, IPMS awareness, professional and ethical standards, plus assessment.

    Upon successfully completing the mandatory training and assessment, candidates apply for the Courses 1 through 4 training in succession. This entails the completion of each course before passing on to the next. With each course, there is a knowledge check for all learners and for those pursuing a RERA license an exam assessment, and a few compliant reports are submitted for assessment. Upon completion of the above, a certificate of completion for each course is issued by the RICS, which are formal CPD hours that can be used towards requirements for RICS membership and the competencies acquired relevant for the profession locally.
