Digital surveying technologies are reshaping how residential surveyors capture, inspect and assess property information. This practical, case study-led webinar will explore how drones, laser scanning, LiDAR and photogrammetry are being used to improve efficiency, accuracy and site safety across residential surveying projects.
Drawing on current industry research, the session will compare traditional surveying approaches with modern digital methods, showing where each adds value and how they can work together in practice.
The session will focus on real-world applications relevant to residential surveyors, including roof inspections, external defect identification, topographical site review, measured surveys and property planning. It will also cover the growing importance of regulatory compliance, including UK drone legislation, operational risk, data governance and professional standards. Attendees will leave with a clearer understanding of how to adopt digital surveying tools confidently and responsibly within modern residential practice.
