    This course follows on from the Fundamentals of Valuation course and provides more detailed training on:

    • Investment Value and Worth
    • Traditional Investment Method
    • Term & Reversion and Hardcore layered Technique
    • Residual Method: Based on the Comparative method
    • DRC method

    Who should take this course -

    Practitioners looking to upskill their valuation skills and knowledge in the industry, valuation training for new employees, and APC candidates as part of qualifying for RICS membership.

    By the end of the course, candidates should be confident to value properties with complex circumstances that require multiple complex approaches, including shops, office buildings, buildings under construction, specialized buildings, and buildings not achieving HBU. 
     

    Assessment:

    • Exam: MCQ + Short Term questions + 2 long case study questions
    • Submission of 5 reports with 5 case studies

    This course does not have a prerequisite and you can take it as CPD and advancement of your core technical valuation competencies.

    For RERA delegates based in Bahrain -

    Upon successful completion of this training course and assessment, candidates proceed to apply for a Class C License. This entails completion of this Valuation Foundation Course, passing the assessment and submitting 5 BVS compliant reports to RERA for assessment. Upon completion of the above, a C Classification license will be issued by RERA (provided the applicant complies with all criteria set by RERA).
