The suite of NEC suite of contracts are widely used both domestically and internationally. Each contract in the suite has its own specific function depending on the project and it is therefore essential to know when, why and how to use the contracts.

The New Engineering Contract was drafted with the objective of achieving flexibility, stimulus of good project management, clarity and simplicity. This course will provide member a good understanding of this form of collaborative contract, focusing on the principles and procedures written in NEC3 as well as giving an outline on the evolutionary changes as introduced in NEC4.

Case studies and examples will form the basis of a courses that will enable you to identify the purpose, function and structure of the contract, and review common clauses that can lead to disputes and their potential remedies.
