    Our course will equip you to recognise the factors that influence property choice, nature of tenure and acquisition and disposal of corporate real estate. This includes the cost implications of the property life cycle and the consideration of liabilities and legal issues. You will also be able to apply the techniques you learn to improve workplace productivity, sustainability, communication and the overall competitive strategy of an organisation.

    This course is made of up of 6 units delivered across a 6 month period. The technical units covered within this course are listed below:

    • Unit 3 – The FM Life Cycle
    • Unit 4 – The Workplace
    • Unit 5 – Facilities Support Services
    • Unit 6 - Management Information Systems

    Course Format

    This is an online course that you can study in your own time. There are six modules, plus an exam at the end of the course. In each module, you have access to eLearning, reading, and a quiz. You also have access to recorded consolidation sessions, where a tutor will take you through the module, case study, and any tricky elements of learning.

    Each module is expected to take you one month. You are given a further two months to complete your exam and complete any further outstanding work. After this time, the course will end, and you will no longer have access to these materials.

    Note: this course is student led with no live tutor support. Content has been designed to enable you to complete this course autonomously.
