Ian Frankton BSc (Hons) FRICS FFB,  has over 15 years’ experience in working as a PQS within the construction industry, of which circa 12 years has been as a Chartered Quantity Surveyor. Ian currently manages his own professional practice, based in Warwick.

Ian has a wide and varied portfolio of project experience, which includes work in the residential, retail, commercial, education, health & defence sectors of the industry. Ian has successfully delivered projects up to £160m developments, for both pre & post contract commissions. 

Ian has vast experience in managing and delivering construction projects within strict budget constraints, and understands the importance of getting the project off on a sound financial base.

Ian also appreciates that the success of a project is measured on how accurate the original budget was, in relation to the final out-turn costs.

Ian is the current Chairman of The RICS Coventry & Warwickshire Local Association and a past West Midlands Regional Board Member.

Ian has also been a licensed APC Assessor for the last 7 years and in that period has successfully conducted in excess of 75 professional interviews on behalf of RICS. Ian has also recently been promoted to an APC Chairman.

During this time Ian has also successfully mentored several APC candidates through their APC process.
