    Course information

    This is an online course that you can study in your own time. There are eight modules, plus an exam at the end of the course. In each module, you have access to eLearning, reading, case study and a quiz. You also have access to live online consolidation sessions, where a tutor will take you through the module, case study and any tricky elements of learning. Each module is expected to take you one month. You are given a further two months to complete your exam and complete any further outstanding work. After this time, the course will end, and you will no longer have access to these materials.

    People are increasingly aware of the role that global financial markets play in the real estate sector. And how does property fit into this picture?  Where does it sit in relation to stocks and bonds, and how is it sold and resold in the financial markets? 

    Understanding the principles behind property finance and investment can help property professionals to make more informed decisions. This course is designed to provide you with the fundamental knowledge you need, from making basic financial models to learning about different sources of financing. 

    This course is for practicing professionals in the real estate or finance industry. The course content assumes that you have a background in property, although you will not need any specific knowledge in property finance and funding before starting this course.

This course combines interactive eLearning modules with plenty of examples and professional tips, supplementary reading materials, case studies, consolidation sessions, quizzes and a final assessment at the end of the course. Additionally, there is a discussion forum available to encourage peer interaction and enable direct communication with the course tutor for any questions or concerns.
