This webinar will provide both a strategic and practical perspective on Biodiversity Net Gain delivery.

Natural England will outline the latest developments in biodiversity policy and implementation, highlighting what developers and land professionals need to be aware of as BNG requirements continue to mature.

The second presentation will focus on the practical realities of delivering BNG on the ground, examining common challenges, lessons learned, and the role of surveyors in helping clients navigate requirements from site acquisition through to delivery and long-term management.

Dr Nick White, Principal Advisor - Net Gain, Natural England

The current focus of Nick's work is on the implementation and rollout of biodiversity net gain for TCPA developments and the forthcoming approach to NSIP developments. His work covers legislation, the biodiversity metric and biodiversity net gain standards and guidance. In his role he works closely with developers of all types, landowners, national and local governments, eNGOs and academics.
